Authenticate your integration
Start with a integration.
Getting connected to your other tools of the trade is very simply. Simply select the tool you’d like to integrate with MagicForm and a new tab will open which brings you to the authentication screen.
Depending on the integration it can be connected in a few different ways:
oAuth: You can simply login with your login credentials.
API key: You can find the API key in the dashboard of the tool
Enter a URL: Integration with Google Sheet can be setup by entering the URL of your sheet.
After you have successfully finished the authentication the integration is linked to the current form.
Form field mapping
Map your form fields.
To know which form fields should be send from MagicForm to your integration and more importantly; to which fields the information should be added in your integration, all you need to do is map the form fields from MagicForm to the fields in your integration.
Make sure you have the integration selected in MagicForm
Click on Setup and Enable
Depending on the integration you’ll now notice that dropdown inputs appear. This is where you map the fields from MagicForm to your integration
If there are no fields to map besides the two one that are there as examples; this is probably happening because there are no submissions in your form as of yet. Please first copy the formID and add that to your MagicForm component in Framer and make a submission. That way we will know the form fields you are using and you can use these to map the fields.
If you have mapped all of the fields, all you now need to do is click Next and click Save.
Your integration is now finished and every time you receive a new submission we will automatically also forward this to the integration.
This means that your previous submissions won’t be automatically forwarded to your integration.
